Description
A sustained release bolus containing six trace elements and three vitamins. Designed for grazing or forage fed dry dairy cows and dairy heifers with a liveweight over 400 kg. ALL-TRACE® DRY COW helps farmers manage the trace element status of their herd during the dry period. During the dry period cows tend not to receive any form of supplementary feeding and, in some cases, the nutritional status of the animal is allowed to deteriorate to such an extent that the vital periods of calving, onset of lactation and conception can be compromised. Given this, it is important to maintain trace element levels as the dry period is a recovery phase and a period of rapid embryo development. Technology ALL-TRACE® DRY COW boluses are designed to lie in the reticulum and dissolve from a constant surface area thus providing a continuous and regular supply of nutrients to the animal. They dissolve completely, leaving the reticulum free of any bolus residue. ALL-TRACE® DRY COW boluses have an active life of 120 days. Benefits • Easier, cleaner calving's • Strong, healthy calves • Reduced calving spread • Optimize conception rates • Optimize general condition • Both boluses applied in one single, simple application • Cows can be given boluses at the same time as drying off routines such as hoof trimming and intramammary tubing • Active life of 120 days • MEAT AND MILK WITHHOLDING PERIOD – NIL Administration Administer two boluses per animal. Always use the recommended Agrimin Cattle Bolus Applicator A. Both boluses can be inserted into the bolus applicator at the same time so that only one application is required. This saves time and makes administration much easier. ALL-TRACE® DRY COW boluses are packed in units of 20 (enough for
