Kilcox Extra Disinfectant is a Department of Agriculture approved disinfectant that can be used by spraying, foaming, thermal fogging or for use in footbaths.
Kilcox Extra Disinfectant is approved to be used on cattle, sheep, pig and poultry farms. Kilcox Extra Disinfectant is one of the most effective disinfectants used for occyst destruction for the control of coccidosis and cryptosporidium. This certified general purpose farm disinfectant is highly effective against Fowl Pest diseases and Swine Vesicular disease.
Application of Kilcox Extra Disinfectant
Spraying: For a specific coccidial challenge the recommended dilution rate is 2-3% w/v. For a severe outbreak of coccidial a dilution rate of 4% w/v is recommended. The mixture should be applied at 300 ml per square metre and it should be ensured that all surfaces are fully wetted.
Foot dip baths: The recommended dilution rate is 2% for foot dip baths. Foot dip baths should be changed weekly or beforehand if the mixture becomes heavily soiled.
Thermal Fogging: The recommended dilution rate is 25% when thermal fogging. The mixture should be applied at a rate of 12 per square metres.
